‘Can I come in your comfort zone or are you coming out?’

What does it take to get out of your comfort zone? If we share a moment together where you let me in, is it still yours or does it shift into a collective comfortzone? Do we have to talk about it or can we discover that without explicitly naming it? To research these questions, trust is very important. A lot of people feel uncomfortable with their bodies, whether that is with how they look, or just the fact that you’re gonna be nude in front of someone with a camera. That all my models trusted me enough to take off (some) of their clothes is something that I find very valuable.

While I was researching the idea of comfortzone/uncomfortzone something else arose. Connection. To create a collective comfortzone, we have to connect. We both have to open up to explore the boundaries together.
