When you become curious about your life, fear turns into excitement.
-Edith Eger
Working as a program-maker, projectleader, teacher, and life-enthusiast, many projects are reviewed. A small grasp of these projects can be found below. If you feel inspired, don’t hesitate to contact me, possibilities everywhere!
The Hub
The Hub isn't just a physical space; it's a community dedicated to nurturing emerging artists across all disciplines. At The Hub, our goal is to design engaging events designed to support young makers and artists on their creative journey. Whether they’re taking their first steps after graduation or looking to refine their artistic profile, at The Hub we offer programs for all kinds of questions.
For example, we offer:
- Guided support for new graduates
- Insightful discussions on community engagement and the intersection of art and activism
- Entrepreneurship workshops to help you thrive in the creative industry
- Inspiring artist talks featuring graduates from ArtEZ
Culture Making & The Hub - Meet me in the Hallway
Every third Thursday of the month an ArtEZ alumnus from Art & Design will return to the academy where their artistic practices began. For one day they can use the school, create work and interact with students. The week after the residency an artist discussion will take place at The Hub. In this conversation, two alumni will talk about their work and the residency before handing over “the keys of the hallways of ArtEZ”.
Together with my colleague Jesper Pouw I am the initiator of this project. Within the project I function as contact for the alumni, photographer and projectleader.
Stepping Ground Soundsystem
Stepping Ground Soundsystem is a (mostly) Arnhem based Collective. Together we are building a soundsystem, we organise parties and are learning all about sound systems, spinning music and working as a collective. Our collective originated from a shared love for Dub and Reggae music, that we are now exploring even more. During our process of building and discovering, I am trying to capture moments in analog photography, so that the journey can be remembered. If you want to see more, follow us on instagram!
